and is self taught in a variety of mediums, some of which include:
Custom Leather; Braiding; Paintings in oil, watercolour and acrylic; Calligraphy; Jewelry;
Woodworking; Carving; Lapidary; Airbrush;
Silk-screening; Miniatures;
Printing; Feather Sculptures; but, most importantly...Crafting.
Crafting allows any or all of these techniques to be married together to create beautiful projects and solve problems.

Several years ago Lethrwolf wanted to learn more about the art of hand binding books, something that has held an interest for many years, and add this craft to the list. So, he sought out the most prestigious bookbinding company in the Southwest and began learning the trade of hand binding books.

He was taught quality binding from both a second generation binder and a third generation old school binder from Lebanon with over 30 years experience, who passed down some of these binding skills. These skills are disappearing with these great binders that can hand down their 'Old School Binding Secrets' to the new generation of binders and due to faster binding techniques, machine binding and the lack of finding many artisans willing to learn this craft.

Having apprenticed under second and third generation book binders with 20 and 30 years in the trade, spending nine years working with some of the best binders in the industry, binding and rebinding beautiful 1/4 bound leather, 3/4 bound leather and full leather bound books, journals, Bibles, slipcases, clam shell boxes and more in silks, paper, cloth, leather, and various other textiles, he has decided to bring his work back to the studio. Leather binding has a technique unlike other textile bindings, and he has several years devoted to leather binding. These are not mass produced, blank, machine made covers waiting for your order like some fast food joint. Each cover is hand made to fit your Bible or book as it is received.
